West Cork Arts Centre works with local, national and international artists, arts organisations and other agencies to develop a programme of exhibitions that offers the people of West Cork a broad and in-depth experience of contemporary visual arts.
The programme includes all aspects of contemporary arts practice from drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking to performance, installation and lens-based media.
West Cork Arts Centre welcomes proposals and information on artists and their work.
If you are interested in exhibiting with West Cork Arts Centre, please forward the following:
1. Your Curriculum Vitae
2. A short written statement of your work combining:
a) the ideas, sources and themes behind your work
b) your working methods and medium
c) reasons for wanting to show at West Cork Arts Centre
3. Please supply visual material to support the above. This will be kept on file. Only send materials that we can keep such as colour copies, duplicates of slides and DVDs.
4. Email submissions are also accepted but applicants are asked not to attach large image files to emails.
5. Web addresses or links to artists' own websites or sites where examples of their work can be seen are also welcome.
