For Primary School Children aged 7 to 12 - 1st to 6th Class
Alison's lively drama workshops focus on improvisation, which promotes creative thinking, enhances self-esteem and builds confidence. The sessions encourage freedom of expression, do not require script study and no previous experience is required.
Participants are invited to take part in a demonstration of their skills each term, allowing families an insight into the drama process. Regular attendance is encouraged for maximum benefit and enjoyment.
Alison Glennie was a child actor and has worked in the profession for over 40 years in the UK and Ireland. She continues to work in broadcast media as an actor (RTE Book on One) and voice over artist. A multi disciplinary artist, she has recently incorporated videography into her practice and directed several short films. Alison continues to work enthusiastically with diverse groups and believes strongly in the transformative effects of drama for all age groups.
Drama Club is a great way to meet new friends and build confidence.
