Making your heart, emotions. Using Clay making skills to build a sculpture of your 'emotional heart'. Emotion (heart) can be any shape, any color, maybe abstract… Shape it to Your Heart Beat!
Seiko is a Japanese emerging visual artist based in Mallow Co. Cork since 2018. Born in Japan she lived in France for 4 years. The workshop links in with her work for her upcoming show Heart Beat at LHQ gallery in October.
Seiko’s body of work is themed on “World In Between”. Emotions which can’t be expressed with words, are Seiko’s World In Between. Currently she is researching how to share emotions with society using her language (art) to share with the audience (society). For that, she is focusing her practice to connect over the materials and over the art forms, and how produce the space that art can feel familiar for the general audience
