Italian curator Giulio Verago discusses the arts practice of Sérgio Leitão and his exhibition for Uillinn.

Giulio Verago is the curator of the international artist residency programme Viafarini-in-Residence (VIR), and of the Documentation Centre for visual arts at Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan. He has collaborated with many institutions and independent spaces in Italy and abroad including visiting curator at Rupert, Vilnius (2019); Goethe Institut Warsaw (2018); Kooshk, Teheran (2016); HIAP, Helsinki (2014); and Residency Unlimited, New York (2012). He is Lecturer at the National Panel of Applied Anthropology; FIT University, New York City; ArtLab - Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, Torino; LABA, Brescia; NABA and Accademia di Brera, Milan; and Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Venice. He graduated in Philosophy and PhD studies, Politecnico di Milano.
